My Third YouTube Video

I'm on fire, y'all!

I don’t know if I’d call my new YouTube channel a runaway success, but the videos are fun to make, and no one has burned down my house.

I may need to diverge from my current method when I run out of material, but I’m doing something that I think you guys should try. All of my videos to date started as Substack articles. I’ve had to rewrite them fairly substantially because, in their original form, they weren’t suitable to be read aloud. We don’t realize that what we’re writing, often, can’t be spoken. In every case, my streamlined versions for voice-over are better, cleaner versions of the essay.

I’m going to factor that in going forward. If an article I’ve written can’t be easily read aloud, it could probably be better.
